Was on Indeed looking for a remote work from home Data Entry Clerk type job. Came across an Adventist Health job application for exactly that. Was sent an email from ‘them’ (they ended using what I believe to be generated emails) stating that a Thomas Bleu will be the hiring manager and that I needed to download Signal. I did. I inputted the number that they told me to use ###-###-####. He accepts the chat. He starts asking questions like “Do you understand what this job may entail?”. After awhile he sends an Interview Questionnaire asking that I notify him upon completion. This questionnaire includes asking for your name (full), address, DOB, and email. It also had questions like do you know what the goals of Data Entry Clerks are or What does Petty Cash mean? Of course I noticed nothing wrong until the next day I was told I was hired with no prior interview than the questionnaire given. In the next email they send 3-4 PDFs are attached the w4, bank deposit/check deposit, employment verification forms, and their own employee contract with the Adventist Health logo and watermark on the document. All I was told was that ******* would notify the hiring office/team and that I would be send a message of their response. This scammer is not afraid to use the stolen company image, website, or name. I ended up calling the company and paying for services to find out if this *** **** was real with the number and name provided.
