They used a funnel system. Each payment lead onto the next.
{Part1: $6,700} 1. Team to be assigned. 2. 19 photos to include a book cover. 3. Copyright & 2x ISBN. 4. 3x Reviewers 5. Short video for reviewers: (Book Trailer) 6. Website to be built. Making the customer believe they are working alongside them. {Part 2 $6,500} 1.11 (Holiday Deal) Reviewers & social media marketing. 2. Online marketing & audiobook. It was here when I realized I knew more about crafting an audiobook than they did. Kind of late, although, once realized it’s hard to keep a blind eye. To the little things hope made you naive to see. Realizing nothing was being done... {Part 3 $1,100}: Website Domain, GB, 6 business emails, $300 a year to keep the website domain and annual updates. Equaling $14,279 of what I wrote down. Although this is the majority of everything I spent my money on for a marketing campaign that i’ve written down this isn’t everything in total. RTR Files: Blogs posts that were actually well written and understood the concepts of the book. That bugged out my computer. Followed by another sales pitch. Then asking about the process of everything else was met with no reply from other staff members...
When reflecting on my past. I Always take the time to review the lessons from the experience. Lesson Learned: 1. Always go with Established Marketing companies. 2. follow up for the services you paid for. 3. Don’t be naive to think that after everything I’ve been through, my luck with this would change. 4. Keep a detailed log so you don’t have to go scavenging for information. 5. Trust Actions, watch words closely, understand your lane, & realise God may have another plan for you mapped out. 6. Take a break, live life, don’t let time slip you by. Keep it fun. 7. Remember your why. Why did I start it: For my pain and the sexual trauma of others to let others know they’re not alone. That others have gone through what you’re facing and are still alive and loved. The Love Story of my Grandparents strife through racism. Also it serves as a blueprint if you were going to through hell like I was...
I snapped a photo of our all previous communications & wire transition from credit and debit card, on Base camp a communication website off their initial site. I should have paid more attention to the bad reviews. One of their new workers who I was talking to. Wound up in the hospital then they removed her account. Definitely fishy. Regarding the updates. 1 star reviews got removed saying they don’t have an account with them. Although they provided photo proof of paid transactions with the company.
Oddly these past two weeks they said been trying to get in contact with me. My old phone got hacked so I no longer posses our text messages. Due to security reasons I do not want to communicate with them with my new phone. Out of suspicion I now think it was them who hacked my old phone to eradicate proof of their manipulative actions.
One of their workers said they were a new company in 2022. An underdog company trying to make its way to their top. Now their website says they been helping people for over 15 years. How do you go from a new company created in 2022 to have 15 years as a business helping people. As well as the last talk I had with them on a google video chat. My other laptop began to slow down tremendously as whilst be were talking some type of malware or spyware infected my system.
I may get a burner phone that I could communicate with them then toss in the trash for future communications or turn into the authorities. So I don't jeopardize my daily form of communication limiting risk to co-workers, and so forth.
Although now since I haven't been responding to their calls, emails, messages, e.t.c. After I said I would report them they are now offering me a call with their finance team who may attempt to extend the scam or manipulate me for financial gain. Regarding my refund.
If you ever work with any service online I recommend you record all communications. Video & Audio. For proof if they try to scam you out of your funds. Although it's surprisingly these tasks I paid for are relatively simply to do. I was more short on time than funds in those moments. Now that I have more time after the novels competition. I'm like I already done what I paid you to do. In a fraction of the time, without an excuse, or any other calls about updates to discuss work thats not actually getting done.
With the the time they spent with me on the phone, could have been done working on the project. NOT TRYING TO SELL ME ANOTHER ADD ON!
