I broke my ankle and went to the emergency room. I did not take crutches because I have them at home. Adapt Health sent me a bill for crutches for $58.09. I verified with the hospital that they did not use Adapt Health, and they confirmed that I did not take crutches. Adapt Health is threatening me with a past due payment of $73.09 and sending me to an attorney or collection agency for never receiving anything. St. Elizabeth hospital confirmed that I never received crutches.
