Aetna Reports & Reviews (11)

This person contacted me through Messenger and then asked me to download a Google messaging app to do a job interview for data input through a Aetna then sent me photos of equipment I would receive for employment only after I paid $150 for another additional piece of equipment that was on the internet for free..

I was contacted by a person claiming to be from Aetna. They asked me to download an app called Signal for the interview. They claim to be a work-from-home position that pays $25/hr during training and $30/hr after training. Once you download the app and try to contact the "hiring manager" Tianna Goodman, no one will answer the phone. However they will respond via text messages. They ask for your name and where you are located. After responding to the question, dead silence. I uninstalled the app and now I have to check if accounts are being opened in my name. Only giving my name and location was too much information, please be careful and aware of this scam.

Getting calls daily now from this number and leaving voicemail. Not calling back so no loss.

Person introduced himself as Matthew Steven F. hiring manager for Aetna. He briefs and send a text message about the job position and the company. I was told that the assignments will be sent via e-mail or IM and will report directly to immediate supervisor. They ask a few questions and stated he wanted you to answer ASAP. When I asked for the direct link to the job so I can apply directly, I was given Aetna.com and no more response after that.

Man claimed to be Kevin ***** from Aetna. Tried to get my personal and banking information.

I was contacted by email. The email said that I was selected for an interview so I had to download an app to have an interview online. I had the interview the next day but it was by text. (so weird) regular questions, after finished, the guy told me to wait online to have an answer. Almost Immediately he told me that I was perfect to fix in the job, so I had to give him my personal information for all the paperwork. Then he told me that I have to buy some software to work at home but the company was going to pay me for this sending me a check so they needed me account information. finally i thought it was so easy and suspicious, and I didn't give him me information and stop talking to him.

I'm looking for work from home position. I replied to a Facebook ad and did an interview through email. They said I was hired and they needed my bank account information to deposit money for equipment I would need to work. They sent me a I-9 and a W4, as well as an offer letter. Then they asked for my debit card information front and back.

Got a phone call fro 1-885-771-0041 saying they had info concerning info on my insurance and asked if I was "my name" and I said yes without thinking. Then the phone made some noises and no one ever came on the line. File a complaint with the FBI complaint site as well

Caller said that she was calling for Aetna and that she needed to verify my address and make an appoint for Nurse for medical evaluation. I didn't think of it until later that at a coverage information with Aetna agents who advised about the scam last month. I am a senior citizen Do not remember if I verified my address at this time.

Aetna has become aware of impostors who are calling people – often multiple times a day – and fraudulently claiming to be from Aetna. The calls may be from an automated service that repeatedly dials a number, or from a live person.  Aetna is not placing these calls, or directing others to place them.

By falsely claiming to represent Aetna, one of our companies or any other reputable company, these scam artists want to trick you into

Sharing personal information that they will use to later steal from you

Giving them money for promised goods or services that you will never receive
