This woman, Angela Smith posted on ***** ** * ****** Facebook page about job openings and to send her an instant message if interested. She then in turns sends a response to download this Google Chat app. She had me add the hiring departments gmail and sent me an interview code. Once that was set up, I started chatting w/the Hiring Manager, Peter Cross and have been in communications with him since Tuesday. I was offered a position as Payroll Assistance. He sent me a job offer letter, I-9 Form(Employment Eligibility Verification Dept of Homeland Security) and a W-4 Form. Included on those forms are my drivers license information, date of birth, address and social security. Yesterday, I had to go to Walgreens to get a steam wallet card, ebay card or gold razer card, which I did and somehow will not let me load additional pictures. This is a copy of the back of the ebay card I purchased from Walgreens and have the receipt copy as well. Today the Hiring Manager proceeds to tell me to go to 1 of 2 local address provided, which I googled, 1 being a CVS and the other a pharmacy. Wanted to me use $500 of my own personal cash to purchase bitcoin. In turn I asked how this correlates to my job as Payroll Assistance and he replied: Bitcoin is an easy means distributing of payments out to different clients all over the country and Europe. That I would be partaking on going to bank to deposit, withdraw and distribute funds as well as along with credit card top up. I asked about providing a tracking number for the supposed company card I am to expect today for official use only. After the chat about going to ATM to purchase bitcoin, I opted out of "said job offer". He continued to chat about the company and its accolades and that I would meet my fellow coworkers soon, but my gut was telling me otherwise, along w/my sister, cousin and daughter said it sounds suspicious. At 10:01am, he said he will inform the secretary to send in the resignation letter to me.

I was contacted on fb about a at home job offer in an area near me. I was told the interview would be thru email only. First mistake. I went on with the process of answering questions. When it came down to the questionnaire I was sceptical because it asked what bank do I use. I immediately looked up Aetna. I didnt do an extensive research. Just to see it was accredited by BBB. I gave the info. Second mistake. Then they sent me a i9 form and some other official document and a offer letter for the job. I did that also. Keep in mind I have 2 kids and had recently lost my job. So I'm desperate at this point. Third mistake. Then I was asked to ship my laptop for programming. I did it. Fourth mistake. Now they asked for a Steam Wallet Card. I had no idea what that was so I googled it. And that's when it all came to light. I have just began the process of recognizing this and I dont know where to began in protecting my assets. HELP!!
