A recruiter texted me from a cell phone number and said they were with Afaxys Pharma and saw my resume on LinkedIn. They asked me to download Telegram and do a virtual interview. I have done interviews like that before and gotten reputable jobs so I agreed. However, they were very pushy about getting me to respond quickly. They even wanted me to contact them at 8am on a Saturday morning, which I thought was strange. They asked for my address and even sent me an official offer letter. I gave them the info for my address because they said they would have someone reach out to me to set up an in-person orientation in my area. I did not give them any other personal info except what is listed on my LinkedIn profile, but I had a weird feeling about it so I stopped responding quickly. I asked them to speak to someone via video chat just so I could see who I would be working with and they have never responded so I am thinking it is definitely a scam.
