I received a phone call from someone claiming they were calling from affirm. They told me that someone had tried to make a purchase using my account and that they tried to buy 4 drones and an iPhone. the total came out to almost $3000. They asked me to verify my identity by clicking a link they sent me and taking a picture of the front and back of my drivers license. They told me that someone would call me within 24-48 hours with a resolution. something didn't sit well with me so I logged into my account and selected to chat with someone online. They informed me that the person who called me was the scammer. the scammer told me that the person that was trying to make purchases from New York.
