I have been searching around for an African grey parrot for a while and was very wary about purchasing it online. But there were so many online websites that sold them for fairly cheap. I picked this specific business because they felt right. They sent me pictures of the bird and even videos. I told them I was wary, and they told me that they didn't believe in stealing hard working people's money. They promised me that they would deliver my parrot to me, and I believed them. So I played for the parrot and started the shipping process. Then I got an email from the shipping company, intercontinentaldeliveries.com, telling me I needed a thermal regulating crate for the bird due to weather, which was $1800. That sounded fairly reasonable. But then the bird went from Texas to Kansas and suddenly they needed life insurance on the bird, which was $1650. That's when it finally clicked that this was a scam. The time stamp in Kansas was even wrong. We lost nearly $3000 to these terrible people, and I never want them to do this to anyone else ever again. If you want an African grey parrot, and the website has birds named Rocky and Charly, it's a scam. I have found 3 companies all with the exact same birds. If you can't physically go see the bird, don't buy it. They really tug at your heart strings and make you trust them.
