I was contacted by Gamma Security Team regarding an unarmed security guard position they have listed in Champaign-Urbana, IL, where I currently reside. After putting in an application for a PERC card, I was sent a link to the AGB institute to complete an online, 20-hour course intended to provide me with a certificate at the end of the class. The course was slated to run from 5/17-5/18. When I logged on the day of, I was greeted by a message stating that the course had already closed. I called the institute at the number listed on their website, but it went straight to voicemail. I left a voicemail stating I'd be calling back come Friday and reaching out to the ScamPulse.com if the issue wasn't resolved, as several of my classmates also ran into the same issue.

I called again yesterday (5/21), but again, it went straight to voicemail, so I decided to go onto the course portal, where I saw the attached communication chain from other cohort members who also ran into the same situation. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but this feels like a scam.

Feel free to reach out. I have other photos I wanted to include but couldn't because of the 1 photo limit. I already put in a formal dispute with my bank; I'm really just trying to protect others from what feels like a fabricated institute.
