I was contacted by a "friend" on Facebook. The conversation didn't quite match up. He was telling me about a government grant for low income families. He sent me a link to apply. I was sucked in. The contact person was "Agent Beverly Smith" affiliated with "Government Organization" They asked for my name, address, phone, gender, DOB, marital status, occupation, monthly income and a selfie. The grammar and context was iffy. I fell for it until I was asked to pay $1000 in order to get the grant of $50000. I know you don't have to pay to receive money. They pressured me to move on the $1000 other wise I'd be disqualified for the "winnings".

I'm concerned about the information that I gave them and how they can use it.
