Type of a scam Government Grant
Was told my friend had received money from a community grant, and she saw my name on the recipient list when her cash was delivered to her, asked if I had been contacted. I replied no, I had not been contacted. Was given a link to contact the agent. I was asked generic questions, age, email address, occupation, street address, then my yearly earnings., which I declined to answer. I messaged my friend and was assured the offer was legit. So I returned to the message and asked what my responsibilities were. Reply was to keep the award of $80,000 cash secret until after delivery to assure the safety of the carrier. I said OK.
They then said I had to follow the regulations, I asked what they were and the reply was pay for case file management and delivery fees. I asked how much the fees were and they were $500.00 then the 80k would be delivered.
I replied keep it, this is a scam. I have heard nothing further
