If I were to guess the reason for the business, it is for funneling or laundering money. This company contacted me by getting my phone number from Craigslist and I do not know what he planned. There has been a huge number of textfree subscriber scam calls and texts that are created to steal people's property in my area recently. This may be the source of those. They use cashier's checks to have the seller deposit the money, make it look like they have received, they send out their "movers" and they take whatever it was you were selling. I finally got a caller ID confirmation of a business possibly tied to this and any results from the investigation would be really great for people trying to sell stuff online.
