I to was contacted by a lady on Facebook by the name of Aimee Hopkins. Telling me to download the ring central app i to downloaded and have been talking to a gentleman by the name of Craig. Him and I have been texting back and forth for a couple of weeks he invised me that I was waiting on my hardware and all of that to arrive. It’s so sad because I have been going on for a couple of weeks thinking this wasn’t a scam and that it was actually real I filled out all the required information and even gave me ss number put thinking it was all legit so now not certain what to do on the information that this gentleman has of mine. Please someone help

Pretty much same as Freida Pollich. No Phone contact. I had to download The RingCentral App to communicate. I was directed to Tyler Carlos in HR, Who contacted me via RingCentral at 8am on a Sunday, stating he was HR Manager of the firm DATA Trans and was to brief and interview me. I went thru the interview with him online but I thought it was strange the questions he asked. At some point I closed the app. I have received a few messages from him via RingCentral but he does not ask what happened to me during the interview. He just continues on with the interview like it was the first interview. I took a screenshot of his picture, supposedly him, and I am getting rid of RingCentral.
Another Scam. I am tired of trying to find a work from home job that is really legit!

I received job offer from Aimee Hopkins on Facebook stating she worked for CONDUENT COMPANY as a recruiter. She sent me a link to Air Credex application form and once I completed it I was told I was a fit for the position and then Aimee Hopkins asked me do you have RingCentral MVP app, it's a business app to communicate with HR manager. I tried to get the app to find out it was not free, I called the phone number on the app website and was told I did not need to purchase the app that the company should have it and send me invite. When I told Aimee Hopkins this information I never heard back from her. I realized then that this was a scam.

A woman named Carrie forwarded my “application” to HR with someone named Craig Fulton. After having to download an app to message with HR (no call/video chat), the entire interview was done via messaging. I already noticed some red flags without, but pressed on since I’m not that dumb and would not release sensitive information. They had a legitimate website and required I download software and more apps for the job (so it all seemed legitimate to me). We had a few days of back and forth discussion regarding my new role and job requirements. The person messaging me said equipment would be delivered to my home address and then eventually emailed me from an email [email protected] requesting me to fill out the usual new job forms (w4, contract agreement, and direct deposit). Of course, I did not give my SSN, any banking information, or ID (which was all requested). That is when “HR Craig Fulton” sent me a link to flexshopper.com which required my SSN again! So I knew right then and there- SCAM. It is so saddening because we communicated for a few days and I was so hopeful and excited for a new remote job. After I expressed I didn’t understand the flexshopper or need for my SSN, all communication ceased- shocking.
