The scammer, using the name Philip Torkler, reached out to residents of my community via a message on our private community page on Facebook. He offered to clean entire duct system in home with a negative pressure machine for a discount of $199. The gentleman that showed up did not perform specified services, but instead just vacuumed out vents. He also tried to pressure other services using scare tactics. When he was leaving, I noticed other warning signs that he wasn't legitimate like coming in a rental car.
