My son is 16 years old and worked the whole summer to save up for his school clothes and sneakers me as a mother teaching him responsibility and useful ways to use his money on things that he needs or wants so he wanted the Jordan’s 4 that recently dropped for is this upcoming school year he is in high school mind you and he work heard to get his little money for his school clothes and with Covid hitting so hard and I am in the hospitality field there was no cushion for help as a single mom he noticed this website that had the sneakers that he wanted he was very excited so he instantly brought them two days later I noticed that I did not get a confirmation or a tracking number for this item so I decided as a mother to call the company to Have an estimated Day of arrival. So when I called it was a grocery market that said ******‘s grocery market and I was very confused and asked the young lady can she please repeat the company business name again and she forwardly asked me if this was for the sneaker Nike outlet website and I confirmed and told her yes and she forwardly told me that they are a scam so I naturally took the procedure as a scam and try to dispute this particular purchase off of my bank statements three weeks later September 12 I receive the sneakers the sneakers appear to be fake very poorly made see all type of stitches at the tip of the shoe that air Jordan sign was crooked clearly that somebody sold it on or a machine sold it on the sneakers did not look or appear to look like a real air Jordan sneaker my son was very sad he thought he was doing something very responsible with his money and ended up being scammed of course Mommy went out and brought him the sneakers he actually wanted but now my son is out of the 195 which teaches him a lesson however still doesn’t justify the fact of they are impersonating a namebrand sneaker store and are literally taking people‘s money I also called the actual Air Jordan outlet and spoke to one of the representatives he was very sympathetic and apologized and I was told that there was nothing that they can do I have to report it as a fraud so seeing that I received the fake air Jordan sneakers the dispute on my bank statement did not go through but it’s sad that these people are not only taking from adults that really are sneaker fanatics but they are taking from children that are actually working and discouraging them from even ordering online. It makes everyone second-guess and I explain to my son they are unlawfully people that Don’t care about anybody’s family or hard-working ethics
