I was making airline reservations with American Airlines. As I tried to access the American airlines site, The airlineassistant webpage popped up. I deleted and it continued to pop up when I opened other web pages. How do I remove it.

I called the company, 877-497-6854, and when I asked how to discontinue the web page popping up, they hung up on me.
