I looked up delta airlines website to purchase tickets. I was unaware that I was on a non delta airline website until days later. The website was airlines reservations and website: deltaeairlines.com. As you can see there is an “e” after “delta” and before “airlines”. They stated we could get reduced ticket price if we purchased hotels.com gift cards. So we purchased 4 gift cards in $50 amounts . They said they would e-mail us the e-tickets in an hour. They never did so we called back. They stated monies would be returned on our debit card ( the debit Card or bank info was never given to them). We realized then that something was wrong. After further calls to another delta airline phone number , to hotels.com and finding the scammed website and looking at other info on website we realized were were victims of a scam. We tried calling the 888-885-2242 number again and no answer.i assume they don’t answer if they recognize number or area of call. Please contact this number and interrogate their service, fine them and shut down their website. Please let us know outcome.
