Its a scam! He took the deposit and day before I was suppose to pick up pup he called saying he needed the rest of money so dog could be put in my name from a county that isn't in my state. I told him cash when I see dog and he would not do it. Please don't waste your time or money with this scam.

This is a puppy sale advertisement from Facebook Group named (Shih Tzu's, Yorikies, Maltese, Poodles & More (SCAMMERS ARE PROHIBITED). The scammer's name is Frank Mathew Sierra. Initially he seems to be legit. He aggreged to drive 3 hours up from Nashville, Tennessee. For that he wanted $150 as an advance. And he made me drive down almost about 7 hours (From Northern Virginia to Knoxville Tennessee). He had been responsive to my phone call and text until close to the scheduled time. Then he started giving a story of some family emergency and told me that he can only ship the puppies. He said, the puppies are in the cargo with Airtails Pet Movers and provided the tracking number as well. The website for the pet mover is https://airtailspetmovers.com/

The mover website had an online chat window. When we checked the status and details for the puppy shipping for the specific tracking number. They asked us to pay the shipping charges of $300 for each puppy. So, for 2 Maltese puppies they asked us to send $600 total with same day delivery. They could only accept Apple Pay or Zelle. And they asked us to send the payment confirmation into the chat window. Since the scammer (Puppy seller) was in contact with us we believed and deposited the money.
