In an attempt to find a house in Boston, my girlfriend and I went on Craigslist and found a house renting for 700 dollars. The owner of the house had reportedly moved to Houston, Texas, was a minister and wanted someone who would take care of his house. He asked for 1400 dollars, two individual payments of 700 each, and continued to ask for more money for an accident that his secretary had gotten into, at which point I was absolutely positive he was scamming us.
