I received a text message from someone claiming to be a hiring manager with Ajilon, a staffing agency that listed a job on Glassdoor I had applied to. The person asked if I was still interested and directed me to Google Hangouts to contact their client, Patrick Halter with Penumbra. Much of what was said is factual; enough to keep the conversation going. But "Mr. Halter" claimed to be a local manager and the address he gave me is a furniture store on Google maps. He then sent a list of office equipment I would need to secure with an account approved by their accountant, so I could do the job. He is expecting me to resume this conversation on Google Hangouts at 9a.m. on 6/1/2018.
