I've been looking online for a puppy for a few months. A while back I found this website: https://www.akcgoldenretrieverpups.com. After a few emails & texts 9/13 - 9/14 (mainly texts through a google # or WhatsApp #) back and forth with them I decided to purchase a puppy from them. However due to finances I decided to retract the offer the same day of purchase due to finance concerns. They told me they had a 2 week return policy. I had already sent them $950 ($800 for the puppy and $150 for the travel) through my PNC app through Zelle and they had planned on shipping the puppy to me so they have my address. I was told on 9/14 that I would receive a refund by the weekend and never received it. They were giving me very vague responses to very specific questions I had been asking via text, tried calling the number and ended up being confirmed it was to be a google account (someone called back almost immediately from a different # saying it was the wrong number), I didn't receive a confirmation of payment, they did give me tracking for the puppy, etc.

I put in a fraud dispute through my bank which was denied because I used the Zelle app which was essentially like using cash.
