Agreement to purchase a 10 week female with blue eyes teacup shih tzu for $500.00 for Bailey, reference #6644677. Was instructions to pick up 2 American Express gift cards of $500.00 & $180.00 on 6-26-2022. We was told to expect the puppy to arrive by 10:00 pm on 6/26/2022. Next was instructed to pick up 2 American Express gift cards $500.00 each to cover crate expenses to fly from Atlanta, GA to Des Moines, IA. Then the next day another American Express gift card $500.00 for kennel fee at the airport. As the results, no puppy, lost $2,200.00. Would like to know what I could do to protect others from this fraudulent scam. Thank you.
