Responded to job posting on facebook & sent resume to [email protected] on 12/25/2022. Received response to log in for an online interview on 12/26/2022, did so on Tues 12/27/2022 and it was on going for approx 2 hrs. Was instructed to log into Microsoft Teams Chat again this morning at 9am, did so and they proceeded to offer me the job, wanted to send a check via email, they had mentioned it during the interview but I honestly did not know what to expect and figured at that point it was a Scam, but proceeded anyway in order to confirm that it was indeed a scam so that they could be reported and potentially stopped from doing so to others at least with using the info they are currently using. I received the cashiers check via email with specific instructions and I had advised the person I was speaking with that I do not do mobile banking, because of being scammed previously & having my checking account compromised, The assured me this was not a scam. Once I received the check I fwd to my personal banker and also called the bank listed on the cashiers check as it was a bank in Waynesville, MO - Security Bank of Pulaski County, They confirmed that it indeed was not legit and advised they were notifying FDIC but when I asked about turning them in or what I could do to help further they advised I could turn into ScamPulse.com to get the word out and that is what I am doing! Anyone within the ScamPulse.com is welcome to contact me and I will provide screenshots and any other information possible in order to get these people stopped!!! I have screen shots of cashiers check, portions of conversation and can get any other portion of conversation that would be helpful. The person in which I was interviewing with via Microsoft Teams Chat is Kasey Moroder
