i told them to remove my number and do not call back, and they argue with me, that I wanted them to call for the surveys. I have never done phone surveys.

LOL, the guys from TX then CT that called me this afternoon stated that "they do not have a web site, as they are new company, but hey we are nationwide, but we are young start up and just wanting to get our brand out there..." BS "Alarm Security Pro"

Received a call from a Salt Lake City, Utah number. Spoke with "Paul" who said I was chosen along with 10 other people to receive their "Award winning home security system". After speaking with him for a few moments he said he would connect me with his technician to set up an appointment to have the system installed. The caller hung up instead of connecting me. About 30 secs later I received a call from a Euless, TX number who mentioned mi interest in the system based on what "Paul" had told him. He (John) mentioned their Award winning system and services are based out of TX. and they were offering me a free system. I nudged him on for a few minutes until he started trying to set up an appoint date to have a technician come out to install. I asked who they contracted the installs through since they are based out of TX and he thought I was referring to a service contract for 2yrs. I asked for the company name and he confidently gave me the website address. I examined the site after I told the guy I wasn't interested. There are so many discrepancies on their site like misspelled words, broken links, etc. It is so easy to set up a free, professional website nowadays that most people can be fooled if they do not know what to look for.
