Called Alaska Airlines due to needing to rebook a missed flight.

Somehow the scammers answered Alaska Airlines phone. They said the fee was $135., gave the credit card info.

Called back to Alaska Airline to confirm ticket, they told me it was a no charge and they had no idea who we spoke to.

$412.90 I called Alaska Airlines, getting the number from my browser to check my flight for the next day. I was told it was a stand by flight, and to call back and he would try to get me on confirmed flight. After an hour and an half he said he got me on a flight for $800, and got me a voucher for$400, so my total would be $412.90. One credit card was declined and I gave a second. After the call I called the airline and was told my original flight was confirmed, and the flight he booked did not exist. I called the credit card co, and the scammer, I threatened calling the police and they did refund my $, saying I would be sorry since I would not have a flight. It was all a scam.

I had to switch my Alaska Airlines flight last moment, searched online for the reservations phone number and unknowingly called this scam website instead. The "agent" worked to reschedule my flight, which they were able to because I gave them my confirmation code. They then told me I owed money because the price of flights went up and that changing the flight doesn't cost money, but the flights weren't the same price and I owed money. Being caught in a position of making a last minute decision: last seat on the flight, flying during the holidays to see a spouse before a yearlong deployment, having no other flight options; I was vulnerable and made a poor decision even though I had a suspicion that I needed to hang up. They had sent me an email that did not look like other Alaska Airline emails I have received. When questioning them and why I was being charged, they started arguing and blaming me. I gave them my credit card information and hung up. At this point, I found the real reservations number and got in line to make sure I had gotten the flight changed. Later, I got a confirmation email and thought perhaps I was being paranoid. The actual Alaska Airlines agent that I contacted later confirmed that I was apart of a scam, had never been charged by AA, but my flight was changed because they had my confirmation code. I was able to put a hold on my credit card account and then get the charge disputed and removed, but not without effort.
