I saw an ad on Facebook for alaskan king crab legs at very low prices. Normally this sets off the warning bells straight away but thue website looked legit, with a "Trusted Site" badge on the homepage. I placed an order for 15 pounds for roughly $50 and the order was to be shipped Fedex within 3 days. I got an immediate confirmation email thanking me for my order, and a tracking number a day or so later. Tracking the shioment revealed that it originated in China and would not be delivered for 7-12 business days. The decption was very slickly done, as the tracking details updated over the next 14 days showing that the parcel was in fact moving , until the final update showed that it had been successfully delivered and signed for. I nevre received anything, nor did any of the 63 other houses in my development, and the local post office had no record of the tracking number. Attempts to contact customer service got an auto reply to say that the parcel was on thw way and my patience would be appreciated. Ive opened a dispute with my card provider and apparently the scammer is still insisting that my parcel was sent and delivered, and refuses to answer how an order of alaskan crab originated in China. I have since seen several reviews for this site saying roughly the same thing as my experience. Buyer beware - these crooks will take your money and give you nothing.
