I was approached by a man who claimed to be Albert Newsom who was trying to start up a website to be an oil and lubricant distributor. He said he needed a logo and approached me about designing one for him. I sensed something amiss about how his email was worded. There were some grammatical issues, no links to any official website, and no offer to meet and discuss pricing. I did draw up some designs just to see how he would respond and he accepted them right away and said he would mail me a cashier's check, which he was very anxious for me to cash. I had the bank look at it, and, sure enough, it was fake. Don't trust anyone with this email address.
