A gentleman named Phil Greens approached my business stating that he was working in the area and had extra materials for sealing asphalt driveways and parking lots and verbally estimated $2500 to do our parking lot. As the city was doing work out in front of our office I thought he must be working for the City of Edmonton doing work. 

We agreed to the price of $2500 but nothing was in writing. He did come that same day and apply something to the parking lot and then sent an invoice for almost $8,000.00. Both the invoice and the business card Mr. Greens provided me had the same information about the business.

When I objected to the jump in price he then threatened to come with a solution truck and dissolve the sealant he had applied. He did not respond to any requests for main office phone numbers or name and numbers of managers or supervisors.
