Type of a scam Online Purchase
After the purchase I received a confirmation with tracking code and email address of a shipping company, I never heard before. The tracking code came back with all the information you would expect from a serious internet company. Nothing suspicious looking. My only concern was, that I was not able to talk to anyone form both the outboard company, nor the shipping company. Every communication was done by text. That' when I became more leery about this transaction and contacted the BBB-Texas office. The day I was suppose to receive the shipment, I was texted with a message saying there is a delay of my shipment due to Covid-19. At this point I contacted the CC-company about my purchase and the concern I had. Needless to mention the second date for the shipment did not materialize either.
I am certain, not only albertoutboard.com, but also the shipping company is a scam. The website of the shipping company is "logistictransexpress.com". Nobody will answer the phone, or answer you email inquiries when you call.
