I was led to believe I was working with ALE SOLUTIONS. My homeowner insurance was providing hotel accommodations while my home was being repaired via ALE SOLUTIONS. Then ALE Housing contacted me to get me into temporary housing. I was led to believe the two companies were one in the same. I inadvertently gave ALE Housing all my info and credit card. They began providing housing options. They walked me through a document to get my information about my policy but it was also a leasing agreement. I then declined their options because my insurance said ALE Housing wasn’t on their vendor list. My insurance works with ALE SOLUTIONS. When I declined their rental options, they said I would have to pay the cancellation fee of 3,150.00, even though I never actually got an actual rental to lease. They only provided option via text messages and I never opted into any of their housing options. The leasing agreement did not have a property listed. I basically signed a blank leasing agreement. So when I declined stating they were not on my home owners insurance vendor list, they said I had to pay the cancellation fee. They charged my credit card. I feel I was cleverly duped.
