I got a text from Jay Jackson about the data entry position, offering $25 an hour
Then I had a zoom meeting with Lawrence
I went through an hour interview process and was offered the job for $35 dollars. I thought that was not right. I did some investigation and saw other people got scam by then. They told me the very same thing. Thank God for the internet and brave people coming forward. I told them to go to hell and they should be ashamed of themselves for tricking people. I told them I will report them to the police is they use my name or address for dirty gains.

I applied for a job on the PeoplePerHour application. I was then sent an interview link via Skype and I did the interview. I was told I got the job, and they requested I fill out an employee form, and sent in the W4 form for payroll purposes. Then I was told I needed certain equipment such as a phone, computer, and fax to do remote work from home. For the phone, I was told I needed the iPhone 12 and I have the 11, so they said they would provide the phone at a discounted rate because they use their own vendor for programming. I agreed to the purchase, but I was unable to fulfill payment via Venmo or Paypal, so, I ended up using Zelle. Which was strange to me, but the person said I would be getting reimbursed for it. As soon as it was programmed I would get the phone and get reimbursed. So I paid. The next day he asked me to contact him again so we can continue the process and I was then informed I would also need a monitor, which they could also provide at a discounted rate, but he insisted I pay through Zelle again. So this made me uneasy and I told him I would not pay unless it was with a CC. He said that was fine, but that the process would take longer. I told him that would be ok, but he kept on insisting to take the least amount of time, so I had him call me. He called me via skype and he had an African accent, but the picture on Skype is of a white caucasian male. He said he uses his picture because he is the VP of the company. So after all of this, I did some investigating and called the company, but I have not heard back from anyone. The voicemail from the person I emailed my information to is a person working for that company and she does state on her VM message that they are using their company as a fraud scheme. So, now I am worried that they are doing this to a lot of people already struggling financially. I am attaching the company employee letter, but I also have the skype conversation we had.
