Here was an ad for a set of Le Creuset signature cookware at a reduced warehouse clearance price of $56.00 us dollars on facebook.

I got to the site, paid the amount , and gave my address where it was to be sent. I received an email giving my receipt # and that my pkg was being sent via China. Got a tracking # and as it turned out this pkg was delivered to a place in Ontario where as I live in Nova Scotia. I emailed them stating the mistake and they told me to go and ask my neighbour if they got the pkg delivered to them by mistake. That would be a long 3000 mile walk !! I informed them that I wanted a refund but somehow I doubt that will ever happen.

The scammer used the attached photo and advertised this entire set of Le Creuset as $39.95. I should have known better actually, but it came from a trusted friend who said they ordered it, so I did also. I even got a tracking # and followed it for weeks. Then I got the official its been delivered status. What a surprise, not even in the same or state as me. They email me frequently and tell me they are re-sending the item and I will get a new tracking #. Probably hacking my account somehow as we speak. I requested my money back, they didn't even entertain that idea. As soon as I mentioned I would turn them into the FBI, they changed their whole story, updated everything and said they were re-sending the item. Imagine, a $2,000 set for $39.95? I must be pretty dumb I guess to even think this was true, even the shipping for something that heavy (cast iron) would be pretty hefty! Live and Learn dont trust Facebook EVER!!!! Anyways, I saved all the email communications from a China post.
