A family friend told me about website that was giving free grants to people. And just and see if I was on there list. So I sent a text to there website. They asked for a lot of info. I am a 70 year old retired on a fixed income. Like a fool I gave them all the info they asked for. My age my address if I own or rented my drivers license if I had a bank account etc. well I was on there list. Now what they wanted was for me to go to Walgreens and get a $500.00 gift card that was what I was being charged and they gave me set of numbers that I to give the FedEx driver when he delivered the check to me. I went and talked to my bank they said it was a scam!! So didn’t go though with it.
