I was looking for a puppy and came across Alexa Dachshund Puppies. Found the cutest puppy that I fell in love with. They send 8 pics of her and she was just so darn cute. They claim they were in Texas so my though was we could pick up the puppy. As we started exchanging emails and decided on purchasing the puppy and advised we wanted to pick her up, do to COVID we could not, they would have to ship her to us. They even had the shipping cost in the price of the puppy. The required either Zella or AMEX gift card for purchase. So I got a gift card and emailed the info to them. Was advised the next day to puppy would leave Texas. They next morning I get a email from Swift Pets saying the crate provided by the breeder was not up to code and needing to purchase on for $995. This money would be refunded back to me when they deliver the puppy. So I sent them another AMEX gift care. They they claimed I needed insurance on the puppy. $1550 which all would be refunded except for $50.00. So, now the dog has been delayed another day because it was late in the day and to late to ship her out. So the next morning, Swift Pet emailed me and told me now they needed another $2000 for a city permit. I told them no, there was no such thing. Then then started threating me saying they would call the police for abandonment. I told them to call the police, I bet they would love to hear what you are doing to me. Never heard a word back from them.

One the day I was suppose to get the puppy. I sent an email from a different address inquiring about the same dog. They told me she was still available. I email back and asked how that could be when I just purchased her two days ago. Never heard back from them either. This is horrible that people feel the need to lie, cheat and steal to make a living. I guess integrity and honesty mean nothing anymore.

We got scammed from these people they sold us a puppy and when they went to "ship" the puppy the shipping company tried to get us to pay for a $1000 crate to protect the puppy and they requested us to pay with gift card. These people selling the dog only accepted Cash from Cash App or Gift cards. WE were so excited about getting a puppy we fell for it with them but not the shipping company.
