Patrick Petrie, doing business online at Alexander Design Inc, initially did some carpentry work on our house through our contractor. He did a good job and seemed to be responsive and professional. Later, we hired him to build and install some shelving in our garage, including a laundry station with a butcher block top. After an on site consultation and a rendering of the design, we agreed on a price and Patrick began work. He was very sparse about giving updates on progress, and missed a few deadlines. I began to grow nervous that he wouldn't come through. Repeated requests to see pictures of the butcher block and discuss color were only partially satisfied. Finally, he showed up with a Uhaul and delivered the materials, minus the butcher block. Then next day he came and spent the whole day installing several of the shelves and cabinets. He was supposed to come back the next two days to finish the work, he never returned. I have not heard from him since. He will not answer any phone calls or texts; he has completely disappeared. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. HE WILL NOT KEEP HIS WORD.
