Alexia claimed that she was a licensed and insured car service, providing transportation to mostly college students at Clemson University. She be-friended a few students and then told them she was a single mom and was diagnosed with cancer. She had a GoFund me created and did get some money due to the sad story she presented. She then asked my son if she could "borrow" $218 as she had to pay for a medical procedure at the doctors office and indicated she would return in with intertest in a few days. This all took place over text and money sent via Venmo. The next day she asked for another $100, my son said no and then attempted to confirm when she would be paying him back. She then went dark and did not respond and then someone responded on your phone saying she was in a coma and that they would pay the money back in a few days, it has been over a month. If you text the number she uses, and ask to set up a ride she is available - but in my communications I have been told that she is still very sick and has no money. I don't expect to get the money back, I just don't want her to continue scamming people so that is why I am submitting this information.
