I was offered a remote job to work as a data logger. They approached me and they sounded extremely legit. But they tried to pull the fake check scam and have me buy my home office of their “trusted” vendor site. I asked questions stating why do I need to order the items if it’s your vendor and so on. But the got defensive so I ghosted them. Their names were Eric Shields and Maya Sherri from ALGOBIOTECH. Guys if it’s too good to be true then it’s a scam.
