All Above Plumbing represented itself as a large, family-owned company with more than 30 years of experience in the field. The owner, Ray Traver, came to our home to provide an estimate to replace the waste water lines that connect to the sewer line. He proposed to connect roughly 60' of pipes which would include tunneling under the driveway. The initial quote was $3500. His girlfirend, Heather Kole, called and said that the estimate increased to over $4500. We agreed to the service and made a debit card deposit of $2307. My debit statement reflected that Ray added $93 to the charge and withdrew $2400. The company made an unauthorized charge by adding additional money to the initial deposit. A week later Ray returned to the jobsite with 3" pipes when code states 4" pipes should be used and did not install enough gravel under the pipes, etc. It was clear that he was not as knowledgeable as he initially presented himself. He stated that he seemed to have fixed the issue after only replacing roughly 20' of pipe rather than the 60' noted in the contract. He stated that he would reduce the remaining fee to $1000. We were prepared to pay with a check but he requested that we pay with a card instead. Ray Traver made an unauthorized charge on our debit card of $2400. I've called his supposed 24 hr plumbing company and left voicemails over the last 3 days. Neither Ray Traver or Heather Kole will answer the phone or return my call. Not only did he overdraw my account with an unauthorized charge but I have no idea if the plumbing work will even last. He was suppose to guarantee his work for 3 years but after taking our money and not answering our call, we have lost that warranty as well.
