I purchased a dryer and a washer from Ed the owner of this appliance warehouse. At first I was hesitant about buying from him but then he convinced me when he mentioned he would give us one year warranty on the products and on top of that he would gift us a Fridge because of the holidays coming. He seemed really nice and honest so we decided to purchase these items from him since his was giving us a year of warranty and also a written contract. He was to deliver our items the next morning and that is when all of our problems started. The next day we were waiting for our appliances to arrive and nothing so when we tried to contact Ed to see what was happening we had no answer and when we were finally able to contact him he was really rude and told us to stop calling him. He said he would deliver our items when he had time and that if we didn’t stop calling he wouldn’t deliver anything. So we proceeded to tell him that if he didn’t deliver the things we had already paid for we would Contact the police. He ended up delivering the following day but our issue was that the appliances he delivered were not the ones that were sold to me and I have the receipt to prove that and also they were super dirty and the dryer is not working. I contacted Ed and told him about my issue through text since he wouldn’t pick up the phone and to this day I have not gotten a response. I also contacted the person who post for him on offer up and she is not help either. I decided to look for advice and contacted a lawyer to see what I could do in this case to get a refund and that is when I found out this so called business is not registered in the state of Illinois and that they have been doing this to other people. I also contacted the Addison police department and they know about this fraudulent business. Do not buy from this Ed guy because all he wants is your money and he is going to give you garbage. This is not a business and there are not honest people they are not giving you what they say they are selling. I basically threw $400.00 away and what gets me more mad is that they have been doing this and will continue to do it to other people. I spoke to the owner of the building he rents and the owner said that a lot of people had come back looking for him for the same reason as us. Please beware. To this day I have garbage in my house that does not work and I haven’t been able to return nor get a refund.
