We searched for hot tub repair people near us on google and found All Florida Hot Tub Repairs, We called and left a message & Pedro Alvarez called us back and made appointment to come out. He did not show up but then text and apologized saying his son had been in a motorcycle accident and he would come out the next day which he did. He was very informative and friendly and seemed quite honest and nice. He said we needed a new pump. We were leaving the next day for a cruise but he said if we gave him the money he would purchase the pump, install it and have the hot tube cleaned and up and running by the time we returned. We gave him a check for $906.52 and the gate card to access our community. The day before we were scheduled to return we text him asking if hot tub was fixed. He said the pump came damaged but a new one was being sent and he would have it by Tuesday (3 days after our return). We texted him on the day he was suppose to have the pump and got no response we then called an left a message-no response. We called and texted daily for 5 days and he never responded. We then saw on his invoice that his email address was to Miami Pool and Hot Tub. When we researched this we discovered that he has done this many times. Check out complaints on Yelp for him. Same exact thing many times! BEWARE and don't get scammed like we did. He is very charming and convincing-Don't buy into it!
