On October 25, 2021, I did an online search for moving companies. I found a website http://www.moveit.ca, a company that works with multiple moving companies. I received multiple quotes from numerous moving companies one of them from All Over Canada Vanlines and the quote was sent by Anna, moving coordinator (Phone # 289-204-9301). I also received a text message from this phone number asking if I had received the quote that she had sent. After reviewing all the quotes I received, I contacted All Over Canada Vanlines via email on October 31st. I forwarded a quote I had received from another moving company (Atlantic Van Lines) and I asked Anna if she could match the quote. She responded on November 1st and confirmed that she can match and beat the offer. She then requested a booking deposit of $300.00 to be sent via email transfer.I then e-transferred the $300 and confirmed the move for November 6th at 9am. I made a reservation for the elevator at my condo to move out from 9am - 1pm. On the day of the move, the movers didn't show up and after trying to contact them numerous times via email/phone/text, I received a call from the guys (Phone # 6475625895) who were coming to pick up our stuff. Finally they showed up around 11:20am and since we only had ~1.5 hours to load the truck, I had them load the large items. We ran out of time and at around 1:30pmish we had to release the elevator since there was another reservation for a move-in. Also, the elevator was reserved from 12pm-4pm at my new condo. We didn't have enough time to travel downtown and move in our belongings before the 4pm deadline. So they promised to store our belongings free of charge and return on Tuesday November 9th at 9am to pick up the rest of the stuff. In between the 6th and 9th, I tried to contact them via email/phone/text to no avail. I only received communication via email when they chose to communicate. On November 8th, they confirmed the movers will be there on November 9th at 9am. Since I had the elevator only reserved till 1pm and I didn't receive any response from the movers, we decided to rent a U-haul at 11am and move our belongings ourselves. I have now been told that they will not deliver our belongings until we make the full payment. They had sent me the charges via email and had not taken into account the original quote they had provided and also is charging me for warehouse and customer service (we have received zero customer service) when they mentioned that they will store our belongings free of charge because they were late on November 6th and had not come on time. They have our belongings as collateral and also holding our belongings hostage is illegal and a breach of the contract. I am sharing this unfortunate experience because I do not want another customer to experience what I had experienced. Oh by the way, the numbers on their website are either not in service or a fax. This is a Scam.

This is the worst moving company ever. They first quote you by taking inventory off all you want to move to give you a more adequate quote. They then underquote you so you do your deposit. They sell you that it is a full service move with disassembly and assembly included and that on the day of the move they will send you proof of weight to justify amount. Day of the move movers come and are totally unprofessional. They start telling you that disassembly is extra and they won't do it. After email showing it was included they bregudently do it. In the process the one mover doesnt speak a word of English and is wearing sandals. Another mover is constantly complaining and swearing at the other movers. In the disassembly they wreaked some furniture. In the packing of the truck did not use any of the protective equipment for our furniture as it caused rips in our leather couches. While on route I get a call saying the total will be 3 times more then quoted. In this call I was given 3 diffrent amounts until I asked for it in writing. Never sent me proof just a text with the total and that they will keep our stuff until we pay. Payment ungrudgedly made. Movers arrive an hour later. When they arrive they said they would not assemble the furniture they disassembled. Unknown to me this was because they had broken some furniture already. Through this whole time the office was not responding to phone calls, texts or emails. They were very responsive until payment was made. After a very rough ordeal movers completely damaged the new house putting holes in the drywall and scratches all over walls, door frames and window frames. It has been 7 days still have no detailed receipt. This company are scam artists and should not take anymore business. Not professional at all!
