It was a brand new car and I discovered, after all paperwork was signed and I purchased the car, that the car had previous hail damage.
That damage was not disclosed, never mentioned, just sold to me.
After I discovered the damage around the window trims, I immediately contacted the Jeep Dealership here in Abilene TX and asked if there was previous damage on my brand new car that nobody disclosed to me.
They said, they are not aware of anything and wanted me to bring in the car to take a look. After I got there the sales person and general manager immediately also saw the damage and told me that they will take care of it.
It only took 45 minutes and they dealership called me back to come in again. Once I arrived the general managers, finance person and my sales person were sitting in an office and asked me to sit down.
They have contacted the Jeep Dealership in Midland, TX and asked them about any previous damage. They then were told after talking to the second person that the car had hail damage and they repaired it.
This damage was never disclosed and that is FRAUD. I have pictures and a recorded conversation stating that this is fraud and what had happened to me is illegal in the state of TX.
I do know that this car dealership had over 30 cars on the lot and my car isn’t probably the only one, which is getting sold with non-disclosed damage. Please be aware!
