Gordon is his name.. he texted me on my cell… I’m not sure where he is from. He said benefits were included & training will be remote on my computer after him checking my work credentials.. Then he said, he sent something in my email a job description.. if it’s not in my email check my spam or junk folder too confirmed I received it then he said we can have a phone interview today. I didn’t find any emails or anything in my spam. I didn’t respond back either.

I've been applying for remote positions on Indeed, LinkedIn. I received a text message from a Gordon Brown, asking me if I was still interested in the job on Zip Recruiter. More messages followed, which I screenshot. A telephone interview was set up and the guy sounded Somali or Nigerian with a British accent. He read the screening from a script like a telemarketer. I assumed a second interviewer would be able to be understood. Instead I got a job offer letter by email asking me to photograph front and back of my license and the pdf asks for information.

Clearly an employment scam. I never applied for this position, nor does it exist anywhere on Zip Recruiter as mentioned in the text message.
