I was looking for a remote job had filled out applications online then I checked my email and received an email from Nathan Hartman from the hiring dept with the company Allliges Group I was told I qualify for the position Data Entry/Customer Service/Payroll position and told me there is a organized training for hired applicants and that they have flexible hours part-time or full time, then I was told that the pay is $35 hourly plus benefits we’ll sound too good to be true plus a retirement plan and was given a verification code and that I was required to install this app telegram which I use anyway then I’m to text a man name Alex Hendrix and gave me his email address then next I was interviewed with Alex and then told me to take a picture of my I’d front and back at the time I felt it was legit so sent it. So now he asked me to give the address and email and two references which I did remind you I’m thinking it’s legit next thing he told me that I will need the equipment for the job he didn’t ask for my bank information because the company is paying for it that’s when he asked me who do I bank with I told him that’s when he said the accountant will email me a check in PDF format and do a mobile deposit then that’s when I got a separate email for the instructions about the check. So I then called my bank and told them about the check which is for 900.00 and the lady at the bank told me to come inside the branch so they can take a look at it luckily I didn’t move forward with it because I followed my first mind the red flag popped up when he told me that he would mail me the I 9 and w2 well we all know if offered a job they will email it to you. This job came through Careerbuilder they need to be notified about this the company is legit but the position was nowhere on that website be careful since this pandemic ?? scammers are on the prowl
