This is a fraud company of the first order

I received a call from them back in December of 2021 and asked me to pay off a reported debt amount of $1000. They claimed that I owed it to Barlays Bank in 2017. I have been sick since then, and I did not accept the debt. Nevertheless, they threaten a lawsuit, etc. I decided to allow them to charge my credit card through 5 installments of $200 each. Another company called me recently about the same debt named Global Asset Agency claiming that I owed the same debt. I protested and told them that my debt was fully satisfied through Allenwood & Associates LLC. I sent them a letter of debt satisfaction after they reported me to Experian and ravaged my credit rating. Now I am looking for Allenwood & Associates throughout the Internet, and I am unable to find them. They disconnected all their phone lines including the one they gave me for someone called Glenn at 364-357-0808. I am currently disputing all the charges through my Chase Bank. I reported them to the Fraud Department. We need our US government to catch this ring of criminals and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.

Got a call from Janice Mitchel calling from Allen Wood and associates from Texas (I live in az, never TX). Stating i had legal matters with them and if I dont respond by end of business today I will have wages garnished. I know i dont have any outstanding debts so false. The most bothering aspect...they have called both my parents on thier cell phones asking for me. It is quite disturbing that they have researched deep enough to locate, call, and now worry my 78 year old parents! This is ridiculous. Called my father first. Then me then my mother all from this number 346-867-0736
I of course googled the number to see it has been reported several times. Now I've researched the "company" and found more false reports. Ridiculous!

Received call from unknown number stating to call back 828-694-8669. Representative Jason Gordon stated to tell me how Cardinal Legal Services. He claimed the company is based in CA which was of course a lie. Then he connected me to John Simmons a supposed supervisor who went on to tell me that I had applied for, approved for, obtained, and received an online payday loan from Ace Cash Express-who was bought out by Eastern Financial Services- and now Cardinal has purchased the debt.
These people are a very special type of stupid for not doing the most basic Google search regarding payday loans in NC. NC was the very first state to permanently ban all type of payday loans back in 2001. So there’s no way in Haiti that I received a payday loan in April 2011 and then allowed it default (6) years later in 2017. Even IF, and I mean IF, I did allow that to happen, the statute of limitations for NC is (3) years from last day of activity. Therefore, Cardinal was STILL barred from legal recourse.
They were preying on and praying for me to be ignorant to the law and to the games they play. Plus, I made sure that I recorded the entire call for evidence. I attached the recording of the call to this review

It began with a phone call from a "Melissa" saying I owed money to HSBC for a credit card. (I've never had an HSBC card) I called back and a man said the same, wanted me to pay $1500. I blocked them. Then on June 17, 2021 I received another call from a different number saying I took out a payday loan in 2012 from Cash Mart for $1500. NEVER HEARD OF THE COMPANY AND WHEN I LOOKED THEM UP ON THE INTERNET THEY'RE A COMPANY FROM THE PHILIPPINES! I asked for her mailing address and she said she had to find it. She put me on hold and came back with the address and asked why I needed it! (She looked it up on the internet) I told her she was a scammer and hung up. She kept calling me from seven different numbers and I kept hanging up and blocking her. Numbers are listed below...

I believe they are using a legit collection agency's info for their scam. The fact they have so many numbers is telling!
