I just got contacted by a Alliance Health Care scam

I just got contacted by a similar arrangement. In this case, they claim to be from Singapore. I first got a text message that I was suspicious of, but because I could use the work, I decided to confirm that there wasn't an actual first Contact for the job.

It was after I went on Microsoft teams to contact the interviewer that this mere suspicion became more certain. It was then that I got the Singapore connection, which even if it was not a scam was still legally suspicious. This came about by getting the website to the actual company to look at.

Furthermore, it did not seem like an actual interview. So I did a Google search for Alliance Health Care remote job scam and came up with several examples that showed what they were really about. I had encountered similar scams before and fortunately, I knew what to look for. Also, they got no more information out of me than what they already had.

I'm really glad that I caught this before I got too deep.

The company alliance-healthcare.co.uk are claiming that people can work from home, but they have to purchase supplies that are paid by the company. They send a check, have you deposit the check, withdraw the money and wire the money to them via western union, supposedly the vendor of the supplies. the check is a bad check, and now your account is overdrawn and you owe the bank.
