Type of a scam Tech Support
called me and stated they have observed that my computer was hacked and they would clean it for $500.00.
He instructed me to get iTunes cards from a Walgreen's which I did. I called him back, as instructed, and gave him the security numbers on the back of each of the (5) S100.00 Money cards. He stated he could not confirm the money was deposited until Monday (9-26-2016). Subject called at 8:00 AM (9-26-2016) and stated there was something wrong with the security codes on the iTunes cards. He stated that he had replaced the $500.00 to my credit card.
I was now to send a payment of $500.00 via Western Union to (Marina Raphael - with a destination of "India" with no local address. I refused tp send the 2nd payment as I became suspicious the this was a scam.
