Received an "Allocated Waiver" "check" for $199 from our "Mortgage Lender". No email address or street address provided in the letter (only the 1-800-916-8689 number). We only got postal information from the stamp that it was mailed from. It also listed a "Home Owner ID" number which probably would have been our contract number if we had fallen for the scam and cashed the check.
