On Sunday, 4/21/24, I found that I had a flat tire. In my haste, I googled Allstate and I called the number I saw listed: 888-213-2235. A lady answered and said something about Allstate. (I don't remember exactly) I told her the situation and she said she could find a towing co. to send to me to change the tire. I asked her about my coverage and she said they (her company) was answering the calls for Allstate since it was Sunday. She came back on the line and said she found a towing co. and it would cost $299.00. I said, no way. She came back again and found one for $259.00. I asked her 3 times if my insurance would cover the cost and she kept ensuring me they would.

I found out the next day, Monday, that I only have $50 coverage and that the 'business' I had called wasn't associated with Allstate. Since then, the phone number doesn't work - it either keeps ringing or I get a message saying it's not a valid number.

I received a phone call from 608-424-9876. The gentleman was foreign and told me he was calling to follow up on an Allstate quote I had awhile back and wanted to give me a free estimate for my insurance needs. He had my address. I told him I never had a quote given to me by Allstate and I'm not interested in shopping my insurance. He hung up on me.

I received a call stating that he was with all state insurance company. They had all my information and said i already had an account with them but i was very certain I did not. I tried calling the number back to ask how did they have my information but before I could complete my sentence they hung up. I called the legit all state to double check and they informed me that I did not have an account with them and they told me it sounded like a scam. I'm reporting this due to these people having all my information and worried they can use my identity in the future. Thank you.
