I have a modeling account on Backstage.com. This person named Martin Damarco on Instagram messaged me saying he saw my portfolio and has an upcoming shoot. I had him send me an email. I then received an email from “Andy Kuo”.. I was already skeptical because he used a gmail.com email instead of an official email. I never responded to his email, and I found that someone else has already been scammed. So I am confirming that this person also told me on May 27, 2023 that there is an Intradeco Apparel photo shoot opportunity in which is very likely a scam.

I was contacted through instagram by a Martin Danarc about a modeling shoot with Allure model management. He asked for my email which I sent. I then received messages from an Andy Kuo detailing me about a photo shoot for Intradeco Apparel. He offered me large amounts of money for the shoot and let me know that all expenses would be paid. The offer seemed tempting but I was skeptical and after further research I found that it was a scam.

A man by the name of Andy kuo sent me a text message asking me for my email address so that he can send me some information about a photo shoot. I received the email from a Justin McGinnis on behalf of Allure Model Management. The email explained everything that needed to take place including how the company was going to cover all the expenses necessary to get to the job. They were looking for cast and crew for photoshoot hosted by intradeco apparel. The company sent me a check for $3,900 which a portion of that was going to go towards a personal agent who would take care of the reservations for the hotel and a plane ticket. When I received the check I tried to deposit it into my bank account but it was rejected for security reasons. So I was asked to cover the $300 as a down payment to the agent, so he or she can begin work on the reservations. Every single time I would send them money it will always be a different person. I purchased multiple gift cards for the payment in which case they asked me to send them a picture of both the receipt and the gift card. After I covered the last $200 that the agent needed I didn't hear anything back from them.
